Thanks to these hero officers, and their partnerships with the Connecticut Humane Society, more animals get. The Humane Society of the United States Disaster Relief Animal Rescue Team partners with our affiliate Humane Society International and local agencies to rescue ALL ANIMALS ACROSS THE WORLD. During Office Hours clients can surrender animals, obtain pet licenses, make donations, look for their lost pets and other business and animal control tasks. HART also coordinates with shelters in the northern U.S. April 9-16 is Animal Control Appreciation Week.
